Terms of Service

Last updated 28 September 2026

These are the terms for using Jurisava. We have written them in plain language on purpose — if anything here is unclear, please ask us before you sign up.

Jurisava is subscription software for law firms. Your firm is the customer; the people at your firm and your clients use it under your firm’s account.

1.What Jurisava is

Jurisava is software your firm uses to keep a matter’s details, court dates and deadlines, documents and messages together, and to give your client a signed-in view of their own matter.

Jurisava is not a law firm, does not practise law, and does not give legal advice. Nothing in the product or on this page is legal advice, and nothing in it is a substitute for your own professional judgement.

2.Your firm's account

The person who creates the firm account must be authorised to act for that firm. You are responsible for the people you invite, for the roles you give them, and for keeping sign-in details confidential. Please tell us straight away if you think someone has access they should not have.

Your plan includes up to 3 attorney seats and up to 5 staff seats. Client accounts are unlimited and are not charged per client.

3.Subscription and billing

  • One plan: $129 a month per firm, including up to 3 attorney seats, up to 5 staff seats and unlimited client accounts.
  • Beyond the allowance: $29 a month for each additional attorney seat, and $10 a month for each additional staff seat.
  • Billing is monthly. There is no annual option and no setup fee.
  • Charges are taken in advance each month by card, through Stripe, our payment processor. We never receive or store your full card number.
  • Your subscription continues month to month until your firm cancels it.

If we change the price of the plan or of additional seats, we will tell you before the change applies to you, and a change will never apply to a month you have already paid for.

Billing is not switched on yet. Jurisava is in early access, and no firm can be charged today. When billing is switched on for your firm, we will tell you the amount and the date in writing first, and nothing is charged until you have agreed to it.

4.Cancelling

Your subscription is month to month. You can cancel at any time — from your account settings where that is available, or by emailing us — and you do not have to give a reason.

If you cancel before the next billing cycle, no further recurring charges are taken. Your firm keeps access through the billing period you have already paid for, and nothing further is charged after that.

Cancelling is not the same as a refund. Refund requests — a duplicate charge, a billing error, or other exceptional circumstances — are reviewed by our support team, as set out in Cancellation & refunds.

5.Your firm's information and your clients' information

Your firm decides what goes into Jurisava, including information about your clients. Your firm is responsible for having the right to put that information there, for the permissions you set, and for any notice your clients are owed. We hold and process it to run the service for your firm, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Access is enforced by the product: a client account sees only that client’s own matter, documents stay invisible to a client until an attorney shares them, and staff accounts see only the matters they are assigned to.

6.Acceptable use

Please do not use Jurisava to:

  • do anything unlawful, or to store information you have no right to hold;
  • try to reach another firm's information, or another client's information;
  • work around or interfere with the product's access controls, or attempt to overload or break the service;
  • resell the service, or give access to someone outside your firm.

If an account is used in these ways we may suspend it, and we will tell you why.

7.Early access: availability and changes

Jurisava is in early access. We do not promise that the service will be available at any particular time, or that it will be free of faults, and features may change as we finish the first version. We may limit how many firms we onboard at a time.

Please keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose. We look after your firm’s information carefully, but no software can promise that data will never be lost.

8.Suspending or ending an account

You can ask us to close your account at any time. We may suspend or end an account for non-payment, for a breach of these terms, or where the law requires it. If we end your account, we will tell you why, and where it is reasonable to do so we will give you a chance to ask us for your data first.

9.Liability

We do not limit or exclude any liability that the law does not allow us to limit or exclude, including liability for fraud.

Beyond that, our liability to your firm is limited to the fees your firm paid us in the month in which the problem arose. We are not responsible for decisions you or your client make about a matter — that is legal work, and Jurisava does not do legal work.

Nothing in these terms limits any right your firm has that applicable law does not allow us to limit.

10.Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. If we make a material change, we will tell you before it takes effect. The date at the top of this page shows the version you are reading.
